Brian Williams To Host SNL On Nov. 3

It was announced tonight on Saturday Night Live that NBC’s Brian Williams will be hosting the show on November 3. An emailer reminds us former NBC newsman Edwin Newman hosted in February, 1984, after his retirement from network news. That was in the Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo days; Kool & the Gang was the musical guest. Sorry, back to the present. The musical guest on the night Williams hosts is Feist.
