Bridge Collapse: Network Updates

Charles Gibson updated the west coast versions of World News at 9pm ET and again at 9:30pm ET. “There has been a major tragedy, tonight, in Minneapolis/St. Paul. The collapse of an interstate bridge over the Mississippi River,” is how west coast viewers heard Gibson introduce World News. Gibson interviewed a reporter from ABC’s Minneapolis affiliate as well as a survivor who made it off the bridge.
