Bryan Norcross Joins Weather Channel
The Weather Channel will officially announce today that former CBS hurricane analyst Bryan Norcross has joined the network as the new “hurricane specialist” for this year’s season.
Norcross is perhaps best known (particularly to this reporter) for his hurricane analysis for CBS and NBC O&Os in Miami, where he spent twenty years forecasting storms.
An interesting aside: long before Norcross won awards for his 23-hour marathon coverage of Hurricane Andrew, he was actually the first weekend weathercaster for CNN in 1980.
Dr. Rick Knabb remains the “hurricane expert.”
