All three cable networks are taking the announcement of Sen. Edward Kennedy‘s endorsement of Sen. Barack Obama. The announcement also included remarks from Caroline Kennedy and her cousin, Rep. Patrick Kennedy. CNN broke away from the announcement at one point, getting a report from Suzanne Malveaux who is at the event; they eventually returned to live coverage of the end of Sen. Kennedy’s remarks.

>More: ABC’s Charlie Gibson will be sitting down the Caroline Kennedy and Sen. Edward Kennedy for an interview that will air tonight on World News and tomorrow morning on GMA.
