Cable Ranker: Week of April 16

FNC’s and CNN’s ratings were boosted by last week’s coverage of the tragedy at Virginia Tech.

For the week of April 16 , FNC was #6 on all of basic cable, averaging 1,085,000 viewers in total day — compared to 738,000 viewers the week before.

CNN was #11 with 780,000 — compared to #27 the previous week. MSNBC averaged 371,000 viewers, ranking #29, the same as the week before.

In primetime, FNC was #3 with 1,764,000 viewers, bested only by USA and TNT. CNN was #10 with 1,309,000 viewers in primetime. MSNBC was #30 with 524,000…
