Cable Ranker: Week of May 5

A strong night of political coverage helped CNN and MSNBC jump a few spots in the weekly cable ranker for last week, but FNC remained firmly in first place. In prime time, FNC came in fifth for the week — the 17th week (out of 19) in which FNC finished in the top 5 cable channels during prime time in 2008.

In Total Day, FNC finished #7, CNN came in 15th and MSNBC finished 27th.
