Cablers Talk Couric/Palin
After a back-and-forth on the web about what would be said, tonight it was revealed.
CBS’ Katie Couric asked Gov. Sarah Palin about the Supreme Court, and the answer had the cablers buzzing. CNN, FNC and MSNBC all had discussed the issue by 8:15pmET.
Campbell Brown: Election Center had Joe Klein, Gloria Borger and Ed Rollins discussing the question. Rollins called the series of interviews with Couric “terrible” for Palin.
Bill O’Reilly discussed the questioning with Bernie Goldberg, and although O’Reilly thought it was a “gotcha question,” both agreed she needed to be more well-versed on “complicated” issues.
Keith Olbermann touched on it several times, dubbing her “Silent Sarah,” among other things.
