Cablers To Cover A-Rod Newser

This time last year, the cablers were covering former New York Yankee Roger Clemens denying steroid use to Congress. Today they’ll cover admitted steroid user Alex Rodriguez as he reports to spring training.

CNN, FNC, MSNBC and HLN will air the 1:30pmET news conference live, although may not take it in its entirety if A-Rod answers all of what will likely be a barrage of questions. Yankee manager Joe Girardi, many of his teammates and a few hundred reporters will be in attendance.
