Cablers To Cover Shuttle Launch

nasa_11-14.bmpThe space shuttle Endeavour is set to launch tonight at 7:55pmET, and all signs indicate it will take off as scheduled.

Cablers have been monitoring the story and reporting from Cape Canaveral throughout the day. CNN and MSNBC will be live for the duration of the launch. FNC will cover the launch throughout the 7pmET hour, and will use a double box of the launch during the 8pmET O’Reilly Factor. Shepard Smith will be in place to anchor should any problems arise. Also in place on FNC, the “Projected Flight Data” will replace the ticker during the launch coverage.

ABC News NOW, the network’s digital channel, will carry live anchored coverage of the launch, and ABC and NBC tell us the networks will be ready to break in if necessary.

HDNet’s coverage of the launch begins at 7:30pmET and is hosted by Greg Dobbs.
