Cami McCormick to Accept CBS Award an Annual Murrow Dinner

CBS’s Harry Smith, CNN’s John Roberts, ABC’s Jim Sciutto, NBC’s Ann Curry, and MSNBC’s Tamron Hall will be among the presenters at the annual Edward R. Murrow Awards dinner in New York later this month.

CBS Radio News correspondent Cami McCormick, injured while on assignment in Afghanistan in August ’09, will accept the Overall Excellence Award for CBS Radio news, while NBC News president Steve Capus will accept the Overall Excellence Award presented to NBC News.

In all, 59 news organizations are being honored with 89 awards at the dinner being held Monday, Oct. 11.
