The NYTimes’ Maria Aspan writes about FNC’s ElectionLink trucks, which were profiled by TVNewser last month. Aspan talked with FNC DC Bureau chief Brian Wilson about Carl Cameron‘s coverage of the hostage situation at Sen. Hillary Clinton‘s campaign headquarters last month. Cameron was reporting from one of the ElectionLink trucks.

During the breaking situation, Cameron misidentified the suspect. “When you’re live, you’re sorting it out in real time,” Wilson said. “The viewers are seeing the sausage being made, and sometimes it’s not pretty.”
