Exclusive: TVNewser has learned Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson has re-signed a multi-year deal with Fox News Channel.

Carlson will continue in her capacity as co-host of Fox & Friends, now from 6-9amET.

Carlson joined FNC as an anchor in June 2005. She took over as co-host of F&F in September 2006. Prior to joining the network she worked at CBS News where she was a news correspondent and co-anchor of the CBS Saturday Early Show.

Carlson’s path to TV saw her as the first classical violinist to be crowned Miss America and graduate of Stanford University and Oxford University.
