HBO Still Optimistic About Hard Knocks
With the NFL lockout winding down, HBO is still optimistic they will find a team to profile for Hard Knocks.
“We are monitoring developments and remain hopeful of presenting a new season of ‘Hard Knocks,’” HBO spokesman Ray Stallone told Sporting News. “Beyond that we are not going to speculate.”
More than a half-dozen teams (Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Detroit, NY Jets, Chicago, Denver, Minnesota) have reportedly turned down HBO’s offer for a variety of reasons.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – there’s always Al Davis and the Oakland Raiders.
