Video: Francesa Hides the Ice Cream

Mike Francesa seems rather abashed when someone at YES tells him that viewers can see that he’s buoying his blood sugar with some ice cream goodness. Don’t be ashamed of the cup, Mike.

Twitter and Facebook: Lakers most ‘liked’ North American sports team

Proving that back-to-back titles will go a long ways towards getting you liked, the Los Angeles Lakers have the most combined Twitter followers and Facebook “likes” among North American sports teams, the Sports Business Daily reports. The Lakers came in fourth worldwide, behind three soccer teams – FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United – and just ahead of Arsenal, another soccer team. The Lakers, in fact, were the only non-soccer team to finish in the top 8 worldwide.

Here’s how the top 20 break down, and below that how leagues break down. The most surprising fact (to me, anyway) is that more people like the WWE than the NFL. People know wrestling is fake, right? By the way, if Manchester United would simply open a Twitter account, they’d basically dominate these rankings.
