Chargers-Cowboys Replaces Hall Of Fame Game On NBC

The NFL announced Tuesday that the San Diego Chargers-Dallas Cowboys game has been moved from Saturday, Aug. 20 to Sunday, Aug. 21.

It will be televised nationally on NBC as a replacement to the Aug. 7 Pro Football Hall of Fame game, that was cancelled last week.

There you go, preseason football fans. You can’t say NBC or the NFL cheated you out of a nationally televised game.

Michael Oher Isn't Fond Of NFL Draft Expert Todd McShay

One of the most overused phrases every year during the NFL Draft is “character issues.”

Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Michael Oher was downgraded by ESPN analyst Todd McShay when he came out of Ole Miss due to unspecified character issues, which he still resents to this day:

“What is Character issues?!?” Oher wrote on his Twitter account in a rare rant from him. “Somebody tell me? I never got in trouble with the Law … yes sir no sir guy … But this Todd Mcshay guy acts if he knows ppl on a personal level get real!” What if someone was to talk about your son … and he had character issues!!

“Thats how my family felt. You need to meet ppl first and then judge them not go off what you hear!! …@McShay13 tell me what are character issues because I dont know… you said I had them and you never met me?! And I respect Mel Kiper way more then I respect you…your a joke!!” continued…

Being a sports reporter ain’t what it used to be. Take Kelli Johnson, for example.

Tthe Redskins reporter for Comcast SportsNet in Washington DC interviewed a number of players and coaches on Friday, and the Washington Post‘s Dan Steinberg noticed something odd:

When Johnson interviewed Rex Grossman, she appeared to be just shorter than him, and when she interviewed DeAngelo Hall, she appeared to be just shorter than him… despite the fact that Grossman is three inches taller than Hall.

So what happened?
