CBS Develops Sitcom On The Life Of Colin Cowherd

Learning nothing from the short-lived Listen Up, CBS will develop a half-hour comedy based on the life of ESPN personality Colin Cowherd.

Bill Martin and Mike Schiff, creators of Grounded for Life, are the duo behind the show, serving as writers and executive producers. Cowherd will serve as a producer.

In 2oo5, Jason Alexander starred in the CBS comedy Listen Up, based on the life of former Washington Post columnist and Pardon the Interruption host Tony Kornheiser. The show lasted only one season.

Of all of the ESPN personalities to choose from, Cowherd wouldn’t crack my Top 25 list of folks I would choose.

Let’s hope there’s a special episode about the importance of having a father figure in your life.

My guess is Washington Wizards rookie John Wall won’t be watching that evening.
