CBS, PBS, BBC America Take Home Business Emmys
CBS, PBS, and BBC America programs were among the winners today at the 7th Business and Financial Reporting Emmy Awards.
“BBC World News America” won an award for Carrie Gracie‘s reporting on how a Chinese farming village has been affected by urbanization.
PBS’ “NewsHour with Jim Lehrer,” which relaunches tonight, won for Outstanding Coverage of a Current Business News Story while the “Frontline” doc about Bernie Madoff won for Outstanding Documentary.
CBS News took home four awards. Three “60 Minutes” reports from correspondent Scott Pelley won news magazine emmys and “Evening News with Katie Couric” won for Outstanding Investigative Reporting of a Business News Story.
