CBS Producer Arrested

The Palm Beach Post reports a freelance sports producer for CBS was arrested Saturday for attempting to arrange sex with an 11-year-old girl. According to the arrest report, 56-year-old Daniel Barron told police that he had used a laptop computer in a production truck at Dolphins stadium to arrange the meeting.

According to the Post, Barron thought he was communicating with the father of the 11-year-old, but was actually chatting with an undercover St. Lucie County, FL detective.

Barron allegedly told the undercover detective, whom he met Saturday afternoon in an AOL chat room called “open minded parents,” that he wanted to videotape himself having sex with the girl after he got off work at 8pm Saturday night.
