CBS Profiles Producer’s Cancer Fight

CBS wrapped up its two-day series, “Cancer: Costs, Cures, and Controversies,” with a personal segment at the end of Wednesday’s Evening News. It described producer Diane Ronnau‘s year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. It has a 10 percent survival rate.

“I would say to myself all the time, ‘Cancer better be afraid of me because I am ready for the good fight,’ and it’s true — I was,” Ronnau told correspondent Sandra Hughes. Ronnau is back at work now. Here’s the report…
