Chris Matthews Calls West Point “Enemy Camp,” Greta Pounces

Mediaite has the video of MSNBC’s Chris Matthews as he gave analysis of Pres. Obama’s address at West Point, specifically, the location.

“He went to maybe the enemy camp tonight to make his case,” said Matthews. “I thought it was a strange venue.”

It didn’t take long for FNC’s Greta Van Susteren to jump on Matthews’s comment. “Is Chris Matthews saying that’s enemy camp? Ouch!,” said Van Susteren.

Later, Matthews clarified: “Maybe, earlier tonight I used the wrong phrase, enemy camp.”
