As Chris Matthews considers his own run for office, the Hardball host is looking back at the Bush administration in a Hardball documentary, “The Decider.” The special looks into six key decisions the president made (or didn’t make) during his administration, most especially the decision to go to war.
Says Matthews in a press release, “President George W. Bush made a personal decision to take this country to war. He invaded and occupied Iraq based on his own volition. It was an elective war for which he alone can be held accountable. What’s fascinating is his willingness to accept that accountability.”
The doc premieres next Monday, Dec. 29 at 5pmET & 7pmET.
