Chris Matthews Reports on the Kennedy Brothers

Thursday, MSNBC premieres its latest documentary, “The Kennedy Brothers: A Hardball Documentary,” reported by Chris Matthews.

MSNBC says the documentary will “deconstruct the myth and legend surrounding the quintessential American family.” Matthews has worked with and reported on the Kennedys since the 1970s giving him a unique insight into their story.

“This is a Hardball look at the Kennedy brothers and their tough fight for the American Presidency,” Matthews tells TVNewser. “It’s grounded in real-life politics and contains footage you’ve never seen before and inside accounts you’ve never heard before,” he says.

Matthews is also the author of the book, Kennedy and Nixon: The Rivalry That Shaped Postwar America.

The documentary premieres Thursday at 7pmET and re-airs Friday at 7pmET.
