Chunk of Pipe Makes Evening News Rounds
In the ongoing effort to help viewers grasp the scale of the oil spill in the Gulf Coast, “NBC Nightly News” and “CBS Evening News” both used a large piece of pipe on the set last week to demonstrate the size of the opening.
Brian Williams interviewed the pipe on Thursday and Katie Couric had a sit-down with the pipe on Friday.
