CNBC Didn’t Request YouTube Removal

Why didn’t the New York Times call CNBC or check YouTube before running this item about Jim Cramer?

Yesterday, the newspaper wrote about Cramer’s embarrassing webcast, stating that the “video interview taped in December for TheStreet.com… quickly turned into a big hit on YouTube last week before CNBC had it removed.”

But CNBC didn’t have it removed! Today’s correction blames “an editing error” and accurately says that the removal request “was made by TheStreet.com, which taped the original interview, not by CNBC…”
