With CNBC set to turn 20 years old this year the network has debuted a new on screen “bug” at the bottom right of the screen. The network will also air special programming throughout the year and it has also started airing promotional spots calling attention to the 20th anniversary. At the conclusion of the spots, various CNBC talent declare, “The Power Of The Past. The Promise Of The Future. Now More Than Ever. CNBC 20.”

And the new year is being good to the markets…so far. With three hours left in the first trading day the year, the Dow, NASDAQ and S&P are up.
