CNN Keeps Asking: “Do Nail Salons Pose Hidden Dangers?”

Does this seem repetitive to you?:

Jan. 10 on Paula Zahn Now: “Can you imagine going into a salon to try to treat yourself to a pedicure and ending up like this woman, permanently scarred because of a skin infection? I realize this is going to be hard for some of you to stomach, but it will help you understand a growing problem all across the country.”

Feb. 17 on Paula Zahn Now: “Try to imagine yourself going to a salon to treat yourself to a pedicure and ending up permanently scarred because of a skin infection. This might make you a little queasy to watch, but it could also save you from a painful fate.”

Tonight on Paula Zahn Now: “Dirty foot spas that could cause nasty infections. If you get pedicures it’s a story you won’t want to miss. Tune in at 8 p.m. ET.”

What are the odds that tonight’s broadcast will replay the same segment that has already aired twice in the time slot? CNN aired the exact same report by Greg Hunter on Jan. 10 and Feb. 17.

In the report, a dermatologist says “We really can’t scare people enough regarding this. It’s a very real threat.” Apparently CNN thinks it should scare people at least three times…
