CNN Opens Permanent New Orleans Bureau

“CMN has moved its Gulf Coast bureau from makeshift quarters into a permanent location in New Orleans,” Jon Klein announced yesterday. The permanent bureau, located in downtown New Orleans on Poydras Street, “serves as a fully functional hub for ten correspondents, photojournalists and a production crew.” It includes a studio for live reports.

The regular staffers are bureau chief John Sears, correspondents Susan Roesgen and Sean Callebs, photojournalists Ken Tillis and Kevin Myers, broadcast engineer Michael Humphrey, and assignment editor Belinda Hernandez…
