CNN’s response to Rep. Duncan Hunter‘s remarks:

“The decision to air the insurgents’ videotape was a difficult one, but for a news organization, the right one. Our responsibility is to report the news. CNN journalists working in a complex world, often at great personal risk, take that responsibility very seriously. As an organization we stand by our decision and respect the rights of others to disagree with it.”
