8:45am on CNN: Tony Harris was reading the teaser for Newsroom during American Morning when Heidi Collins' cell phone starts to ring.

"My apologies -- that is Heidi's phone -- if I can just find it here..."

Then Harris picked up the phone and quickly said "she'll call you back" without missing a beat.

At the end of the segment, Kiran Chetry joked: "That was Heidi calling you, saying 'have you seen my phone Tony?'"
