Middle East Crisis: Cooper To Beirut Anderson Cooper is the first "prime-time anchor to enter Beirut since the start of turmoil nine days ago," CNN says."My team and I tried over the weekend to cross into Lebanon from Jordan, but Syria wouldn't let us in," Cooper blogged this morning. So today's he's hitching a ride on a Marine Corps chopper.
