Sam Feist Becomes CNN's Political Director; Will Oversee Daily & Election Coverage

As TVNewser reported this morning, Sam Feist is adding another layer of responsibilites at CNN. Feist, the senior executive producer of political programming, primarily oversees The Situation Room. Now he is also becoming CNN's political director. "With his additional duties, Feist will coordinate all facets of CNN's daily political" and election coverage, according to the press release.

"The vision, intelligence and ability that Sam showed in launching The Situation Room will now be applied more broadly to make political news even more interesting to our viewers," Jon Klein says...
