CNN’s ‘American Morning’ Shows Wrong Blumenthal
During a report today about future Senate candidate Richard Blumenthal, CNN’s “American Morning” accidentally used b-roll of political journalist and former Clinton advisor Sidney Blumenthal. 15 minutes later, John Roberts admitted the mix-up and said, “Our apologies to all, and in the immortal words of Monty Python, ‘Those responsible for this egregious error have been sacked.’ No, they haven’t really, but they know they made a mistake.”
