CNN’s Cooper On “Cuts” Sunday Night?

What is “CNN Prime Cuts,” scheduled to premiere Sunday night at 10pm? Will the show consist of “prime cuts” from the network’s evening broadcasts, a la FNC’s “Sunday Best” and MSNBC’s short-lived “Primetime Heat?” Or is the show something else entirely? Will the program be hosted by rising star Anderson Cooper? In the halls of CNN today, Anderson’s name was being mentioned along with speculation about the new 10pm show. Details tomorrow…

> Update: 9:50pm: “Prime Cuts is just a re-run of the ‘best’ taped interviews that ran in primetime earlier in the week,” an e-mailer says. “The show is on tape. And yes, it is a copy of FNC’s ‘Sunday Best.’”

> 9:55pm: Yahoo’s TV guide listing describes the show this way: “The best stories from the weekday prime time lineup.”
