CNN’s Malveaux Asks Bush About Jena Six, Race Relations

Malveaux_920.jpgIraq, Iran and the Jena Six. CNN’s White House correspondent Suzanne Malveaux used her time during Pres. Bush’s news conference to ask a question about the Jena Six case in Louisiana; a story the network is spending most of today covering, including a one hour special investigation tonight. “The events in Louisiana have saddened me,” the president told White House press corps. “The Justice Department and the FBI are monitoring the situation down there. And in their post-news conference wrap-up, Brian Williams and Tim Russert discussed the issue as well.
