On March 9, a Detroit News story about the future of TV news described Fox News Channel as “consciously biased.” On March 14, Howard Kurtz quoted the newspaper’s editor as saying there is “nothing for us to correct.” The day before, though, the newspaper ran a correction: “…The spokeswoman also said Fox News Channel should not have been characterized as consciously biased.” It’s now printed in bright red letters at the top of the Web story…
