Couric Drives Clicks To CBSNews.com

“Unique visitors for the first week” of the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric “were up +57% over the week before on CBSNews.com, and viewing of on-demand video more than doubled compared to the week before,” the network said in a press release today. “By week’s end, traffic for the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric section was eight times its normal figure, a significant boost for the site.”

CBS says Couric’s blog has received more than 4,000 emails and an additional 4,000 public comments, and “First Look” has been streamed more than 100,000 times…
