On Tuesday, Oct. 23 while reporting from San Diego and the wildfires, the CBS Evening News topped NBC Nightly News by 14% in A18-49 (0.8/4 v. 0.7/4) in the New York City market.

Two days later, on Thursday Oct. 25, the Couric broadcast beat Nightly by 15% in households (3.0/7 v. 2.6/6), by 150% in A18-49 (1.0/5 vs. 0.4/2) and by 100% in A25-54 (0.8/4 vs. 0.4/2) in the New York market.
