The CBS Evening News went back to the future on Thursday night, starting a segment called “Person to Person,” titled after Edward R. Murrow‘s groundbreaking series.
“CBS has a long tradition of bringing you not only the news but the people making news,” Katie Couric said in her introduction, before showing clips from Murrow’s show.
“Tonight we continue the tradition with a familiar title, Person to Person, and a familiar face, Sandra Day O’Connor, the first female Supreme Court justice and the only female in the Iraq Study Group.” CBSNews.com has the video…
