Couric Watch: “I Don’t Know Where” The CBS Rumors “Come From”

“Looks like the ‘Today’ show’s Katie Couric really wants to throw cold water on all those going-to-CBS rumors,” Lloyd Grove says.

“My contract is not up till May, and I can’t even negotiate until then,” Couric was overheard advising a cocktail klatsch in Time managing editor Jim Kelly’s expansive upper West Side apartment. “This stuff is printed somewhere, and then it gets repeated. I don’t know where it comes from.”
