Advice For Couric: Be Straightforward

| There's another factor that could be having a negative effect: Couric displays an empathetic on-air personality. When reporting the death toll in Iraq, she seems distressed. And when there's good news in the economy, she often smiles. Perhaps Couric needs to develop a style similar to that of the late Peter Jennings, who would report news -- bad and good -- in straightforward fashion. |
