Current TV Wants Journalism Submissions

Current TV, the “independent media company” led by Al Gore and Joel Hyatt, has announced a new “Current Journalism” program for video journalists. The company wants to empower “viewers to tell their stories about what’s going on in their world” by accepting submissions of “news and journalism-based pods.”

Aspiring “Current Journalists” can upload a video story here. (Journalists must agree to a code of ethics, but when I tried to view the code, it didn’t load for me.)
