Dan Rather Back in Court

Developing: Insiders tell us Dan Rather will be back in front of the judge presiding over his lawsuit against CBS. This afternoon’s bench conference follows the April 10 ruling that dismissed much of the case. What remains is the $70 million claim for compensatory and punitive damages; what CBS lead counsel described to TVNewser as “a garden variety contract dispute.”
