Dana Lewis to CBS News
Dana Lewis the former Moscow-based correspondent was spotted on CBS’s “The Early Show” this morning reporting from London. It’s not clear if this is a freelance position or if CBS has signed Lewis to a new deal.
Lewis was reporting from Buckingham Palace on the “Trooping the Colour” ceremony honoring Queen Elizabeth II’s 85th birthday and the appearance of Prince William and new bride Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, after their honeymoon.
Lewis spent 12 years in Moscow, first for NBC News and later for Fox News departing last summer. Lewis’s reporting went beyond Russia. While with NBC, he was one of the first correspondents to enter Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks.
