‘Dateline’ Explores What Happens When Mom and Dad Aren’t Around

On tomorrow night’s ‘Dateline’, NBC’s Kate Snow will report on parenting. The program will show how kids respond to numerous real-life scenarios when they believe their mothers and fathers are not watching.

But parents will be watching — on hidden camera — as kids deal with situations such as encountering a stranger at the door, and being offered a ride by a driver who says he’s been drinking. A parenting expert will offer insight and advice.
