Debates: MSNBC Sponsoring Two In Florida

Several Florida groups are hoping to attract presidential candidates to two debates next January. Today MSNBC signed on as a national broadcast sponsor for the debates, scheduled to take place Jan. 23 and 25.

Also, “most of the NBC affiliates in Florida have already committed to broadcast the debates live.” NBC special events EP Phil Alongi says “NBC News is pleased to join the Decision 2008: Before You Vote partnership, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to bring these debates from the key state of Florida to a national audience…’
