Decision, Decisions: Pres. Speech at Naval Academy or Nancy Pelosi Briefing

After yesterday’s dueling speeches from Pres. Barack Obama and former VP Dick Cheney, this morning the cablers had another programming decision to make: Pres. Obama speaking at the Naval Academy commencement or House Speaker Nancy Pelosi giving her weekly briefing, with heightened interest about her CIA commments from last week. (She didn’t talk about it today).

CNN and MSNBC aired Obama from the beginning. FNC aired Pelosi from the beginning.

MSNBC stayed with Obama, switching to Pelosi after about 3 minutes. Fox News did not take any of Obama. CNN switched to Pelosi only after Obama had finished.
