Diane Sawyer hopped an early train to Washington, DC this morning where she has just wrapped up an interview with chairman of the Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke. Bernanke’s comments yesterday indicating the economy is on the mend gave the markets a boost. Bernanke has been at the helm of the central bank since 2006.
