Did Abrams Write Shuster’s Apology?

MSNBC_929.jpgFishbowlDC‘s Patrick Gavin answers some of the questions asked on this blog earlier today:

FishbowlDC hears that MSNBC General Manager Dan Abrams asked David Shuster to apologize for [the] Rep. Marsha Blackburn incident and even wrote the bulk of Shuster’s on-air apology.

We also hear that an on-air explanation of this episode is not expected today, with MSNBC hoping to pretend the entire episode never happened.

>More, from an MSNBC insider: “Shuster strenuously objected to Dan in a heated argument overheard by multiple MSNBC staffers. Shuster asked Dan for more time to check out Blackburn’s assertions. Dan refused and wanted to end the controversy.”

I’m thinking Abrams isn’t going to miss being MSNBC’s GM.
