DirecTV and Turner Sports finalized a deal yesterday that will allow truTV’s NCAA men’s basketball tournament games to air in HD.
Time Warner Cable and Comcast had previously signed deals with truTV HD and DirectTV was the biggest distributor that didn’t have a carriage deal in place.
And to the 19 million DirecTV subscribers that are waiting for Operation Repo to air in HD, they are committed to the launch of truTV HD later this year.
