Disney/ABC Television Group Seeks Driven Programming Exec
Disney/ABC Television Group is staffing up and it looks like the company is on the hunt for a programming executive to join its New York team. Here, you’ll be providing creative oversight and getting involved in long-term show planning as the go-to liaison, interacting with upper management and departments like promotions, publicity, sales and research.
You’ll be dealing with executive producers and show talent, managing operations from a creative and business perspective. In this position, you’ll handle with contracts for everyone from guests to co-hosts, while overseeing production and performance. Other aspects of the job include program development, budget responsibilities and business acquisition.
This is a job for a seasoned professional, who can handle a lot on his or her plate. You’ll need at least eight years of experience as executive producer, and be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the business and creative aspects of producing a show.
